On 08 November, 2017, Mavin Austfeed Joint Stock Company, one of Mavin Group members, officialy put into operation their aquafeed processing production line, which is among the most advance one in Vietnam at Mavin Aquafeed plant in Luong Bang town, Kim Dong district, Hung Yen.
Mavin Aquafeed plant was established from 4th quarter, 2016, covering an area of 20,000m2 with designed capacity of 70,000 tonnes of products annually. It can be said that this is the largest and most advance Aquafeed production plant in Vietnam at the moment. The plant is built on the most advance technology of Buhler Company from Switzerland, with the new extruding automatic, software controlled extruding and drying technology. Mavin also implemented the most updated production process in the world in for feedmill, in which the production area and packaging area are separated, with different entrances to ensure absolute safety standard for the products. Upon establishment, the new plant will fulfill the demand of domestic market on aquafeed products, and Mavin Austfeed expect to be able to export to overseas markets in the next few years. This is the second plant fully established by Mavin Austfeed in this calendar year. A few months prior to that, on February 2017, Mavin Austfeed has opened the Animal Feed plant in Nghe An. Other than these two plants, Mavin Austfeed is also building another one in Chau Thanh district, Dong Thap and expected to be on operation in 2018. All Mavin Austfeed’s plants are implementing the most advance production technology from Buhler – Switzerland and are certified with international standard level.
The establishment of the new Aquafeed plant will help Mavin Austfeed in diversifying the product list, and gain one more step upon taking over the Vietnam feed market which still has a lot of potential. The Aqua field including aquafeed production and aquaculture started to receive investment from Mavin, not only to suppy the ever growing market’s demand but also help Mavin Austfeed completing its “From Farm to Table” supply chain.
