Austfeed participated in Conference of Vietstock 2014

On 16/10/2014, Austfeed joint-venture company participated in “Conference of Meat Processing Industry in Vietnam: The Development and Investment Opportunities” in Vietstock 2014 Expro & Forum exhibition.  The exhibition gathered top brands and companies worldwide and in Vietnam about the products and equipment applied in agriculture, livestock production and processing.

At the conference, Austfeed’s representative, Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of the Board, had his speech, shared with leading managers in agricultural and food processing sector in Vietnam about the development journey of Austfeed “From farm to table”. Established in 2004, the first investment was only a small feed production plant in Hung Yen, for 10 years of growth, Austfeed has become a leading enterprise in Vietnam that employs completely a closed value chain, from breeds, feed, veterinary medicine and meat processing. Thus, Vietnamese consumers have opportunities to use fresh and safe food from the company. The member companies currently is owning large brands in Vietnam such as Austfeed, Starkare, Stargro (livestock feed), Mekovet (veterinary medicine) and MavinFood(meat processing), which are very close to consumers across the country.

The participated delegates greatly appreciated the professional development of Austfeed join-venture company and viewed it as a typical enterprise having foreign investment that works methodologically, professionally and has great contribution in development of the agricultural sector in Vietnam./.
