Hưng Yên, December 8, 2025 — Mavin Pigfarm held the opening ceremony for the 2025 Basic Livestock Engineer Training Course, a foundational program for new engineers joining the Mavin farm system. The course runs from December 8 to 13 at the high-tech Hung Viet pig farm, aiming to equip participants with essential knowledge, operational skills, and professional mindset aligned with modern livestock standards.

The training program helps new engineers enhance professional skills, understand modern pig farm processes, and improve sustainable operational efficiency.
The course is designed to:
- Standardize professional knowledge and skills for new engineers.
- Ensure farm operations comply with biosecurity, occupational safety, and Mavin’s high-tech standards.
- Strengthen management thinking, data utilization, and continuous improvement in production.
- Build a capable pipeline of successor engineers to support the expansion of the farm system.
The curriculum includes 14 specialized modules covering foundational skills, farm management and operations, and core technical expertise. Most of the training is hands-on at the farm, where trainees practice real-world livestock tasks to understand processes and strengthen problem-solving and teamwork skills.
In-depth hands-on training in a real-world farm environment.
The course allocates most of its duration to hands-on practice directly at the farm. Practical training covers core technical skills essential to pig production. Trainees participate in multiple simulation exercises based on real operational requirements, helping engineers clearly understand workflows and enhance problem-solving capabilities.
Participants are trained in analytical thinking when assessing farm conditions, enabling them to promptly identify potential risks in livestock production. This competency is especially critical for disease prevention and control. Practical sessions also improve teamwork and coordination skills in farm operations.
The “Basic Livestock Engineer” training program marks the starting point in the professional development journey of engineers newly joining the Mavin Group. The program helps standardize technical teams according to Mavin standards, accelerates professional integration for new engineers, and builds a high-quality human resource base to support the expansion of high-tech farm systems.
With training delivered by an experienced internal faculty, the program is expected to provide a solid foundation for young engineers to maximize their capabilities and contribute to the sustainable development of the Mavin Group.
