In the journey toward sustainable development, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is not just an obligation but a way for a company to share positive values with the community where it exists and grows. For Mavin, from that vision, the Mavin Compassion Fund was established in 2019 as a bridge of love — connecting the hearts of employees and partners to fulfill a humanitarian mission: “joining hands for the community.”
After 7 years of operation, the Compassion Fund has continuously affirmed its role as a key element in Mavin’s ESG (Environmental–Social–Governance) policy that the Mavin Group steadfastly pursues. Not only contributing to community development, the Fund also strengthens internal cohesion and builds a corporate culture of compassion, sharing, and responsibility.
In 2025, the Fund’s journey continued with emotionally impactful highlights centered around four core pillars: community charity, livelihood support, educational development, and employee care.
Community Charity: Spreading Love
During the year, the Fund distributed more than 300 Tet gifts to poor and underprivileged households across many provinces such as Hung Yen, Nghe An, Gia Lai, Binh Dinh, and Dong Thap. The Fund also partnered with local authorities in meaningful activities: supporting the Heroic Armed Forces’ recognition ceremony in Viet Hoa (Hung Yen), building a house for a poor household in Nhu Xuan (Thanh Hoa), and contributing to the Son Lang Gratitude Fund (Gia Lai).
In response to the impacts of Typhoons Wipha, Matmo, and Bualoi, the Fund promptly provided emergency relief to affected communities, helping families stabilize their lives.
Livelihood Support: Sustainable Empowerment
Continuing its 7-year cooperation with World Vision International, in 2025 the Fund and Mavin sponsored more than 22,000 ducklings, along with feed, veterinary supplies, and livestock training for 232 impoverished households in Thanh Hoa (in the districts of Nhu Xuan, Thuong Xuan, and Quan Hoa). This program not only generated the highest average profits ever (5–7 million VND per household), but also empowered families with technical know-how to independently restock in future seasons, gradually improving income and family economic development sustainably.
Over the 7-year partnership in livelihood support, the program has helped 772 households escape poverty, providing over 70,000 animals with a total sponsorship budget of 5.5 billion VND.
Educational Development: Lifting Dreams
The “Support for School” program in 2025 awarded 400 gifts including uniforms and textbooks to primary and secondary students in regions where Mavin operates — demonstrating the company’s responsibility to its surrounding society.
The Fund also offered scholarships to livestock and veterinary students at universities and colleges, helping disadvantaged students continue their studies and encouraging academic excellence.
Employee Care: Sharing Within the Organization
In addition to community support, the Compassion Fund regularly assists Mavin employees facing difficult personal circumstances, strengthening internal bonds and boosting morale. The Fund also launched internal campaigns — such as running challenges with Mavin Runners and contributions via the MyMavin app — creating effective support sources and tangible contributions to the Fund.
Beyond charitable actions, the Mavin Compassion Fund helps project the image of a kind, responsible, and sustainably developing Mavin — not only across its agricultural-food value chain but also in the hearts of the community and each Mavin member. Moving into 2026, the Fund will continue strengthening existing programs, deepening collaborations, and inspiring new humanitarian initiatives to spread love and nurture seeds of hope for the community and Mavin’s sustainable future.
