Mavin Group announces its 2024 Sustainability Report

Hanoi, June 25, 2025 – Mavin Group officially released its 2024 Sustainability Development Report (SDR), providing a comprehensive overview of the Group’s operations and sustainability commitments over the past year. The report affirms Mavin’s determination to integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into its growth strategy, while positioning itself as a pioneer in the green transition of Vietnam’s agriculture and livestock sectors.

Mavin’s sustainability report is developed in alignment with the GRI Standards – the leading international standards for sustainability reporting issued by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

A Highlight in the Sustainability Journey
The year 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of Mavin Group and represents significant progress in its ESG strategy, demonstrated through a systematic and effective approach across all three ESG pillars: Environment, Social, and Governance.

In terms of environment, Mavin has shaped a green production model focused on emission control, efficient resource utilization, and the circular economy. Completing the greenhouse gas inventory and announcing its Net Zero roadmap by 2050 show that Mavin not only meets regulatory standards but proactively anticipates tightening requirements in global export markets.

On the social front, the Group has focused on strengthening internal capacity, creating an equitable workplace, and enhancing community responsibility. A standout initiative is the sustainable livelihood support program implemented in disadvantaged areas of Thanh Hoa province. This initiative combines provision of inputs, technical training, improvement of farming infrastructure, and connection to output markets. It not only provides immediate support but also helps poor households generate stable and sustainable income, with special attention to improving nutrition for children.

From a governance perspective, Mavin has accelerated digital transformation as a foundation for sustainable development. Through the implementation of ERP SAP S/4HANA and modern software systems for production, HR, training, and operations, Mavin has fully digitized its operations and real-time ESG management.

Future Vision: Growth Aligned with Sustainability and Digital Transformation
In addition to presenting ESG performance in 2024, the Sustainability Report outlines Mavin’s long-term vision toward 2030, with strategic goals ensuring stable growth in harmony with environmental and social responsibilities. Specifically:

Mavin is committed to a growth model that aligns with emission reduction and efficient resource use, gradually transitioning toward a high-tech, circular ecosystem.

With a robust digital infrastructure in place, Mavin aims to position itself as an innovative digital enterprise in Vietnam’s agricultural sector, leading in the application of emerging technologies such as ERP, AI, and IoT in operations and ESG management.

More importantly, Mavin pledges to continue supporting communities, farmers, and the younger generation in the green transition journey. Through livelihood programs, technical training, educational communications, and market access initiatives, the Group promotes sustainable thinking among those directly engaged in Vietnamese agriculture.

This is the second consecutive year that Mavin has published a dedicated Sustainability Report and is among the pioneering agri-food enterprises in Vietnam to issue a standalone sustainability report, reflecting its serious commitment and leadership in responsible development.

Mr. David John Whitehead - Mavin Group Chairman affirmed: “At Mavin Group, sustainability is not just a commitment—it is a core principle that shapes our future. For us, sustainability means building a resilient, adaptive business that grows stronger over time and becomes a source of pride for our employees, partners, and customers.”

In a global context where ESG requirements are increasingly stringent, the publication of a sustainability report is not only an act of transparency but also a “passport” enabling businesses to integrate more deeply into global value chains.
