On September 24, 2026, in Hanoi, Mavin Group welcomed a delegation from the Western Australian Government and business community, led by the Hon Jackie Jarvis MLC, Minister for Agriculture and Food, Fisheries, Forestry, Small Business, and the Mid West, as part of Australia’s 2026 Vietnam Mission.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of Mavin Group, together with representatives from Mavin’s Executive Management Board and relevant departments.
Strengthening connections between Vietnamese and Western Australian agribusinesses
The visit provided an opportunity for the Western Australian Government and business representatives to learn more about Mavin’s operations and exchange views on potential opportunities for trade, investment, and cooperation in the agriculture and food sectors.
During the meeting, Mr. David Whitehead gave an overview of Mavin and its integrated “From Farm to Table” value chain, with a focus on animal feed production, raw material selection and quality control, as well as Mavin’s experience working with international suppliers.
Representatives from three Australian businesses – CBH Group, IGH Commodities, and Xsights Digital – also introduced their respective capabilities, products, and solutions. Discussions focused on areas with potential relevance to Mavin’s production and farming operations, opening up further opportunities for both sides to explore potential cooperation.

As a company operating across the agriculture and food value chain, Mavin has developed partnerships with international partners across various areas. The meeting with the Western Australian delegation provided another opportunity for Mavin to strengthen connections with Australian government agencies, organisations, and businesses, while exploring solutions, raw material sources, and capabilities that could support the Group’s operations.
Through direct connections between businesses from the two countries, Mavin looks forward to contributing to stronger trade, investment, and agricultural cooperation between Vietnam and Australia, while exploring practical and long-term opportunities for collaboration.
