Mavin My Long High-Tech Pig Farm Achieves Global S.L.P Certification

On October 31, 2025, the Mavin My Long High-Tech Pig Farm, located in My Long 4 Hamlet, My Hiep Commune, Dong Thap Province, was officially awarded the Global S.L.P (Smart Livestock Practices) certification - one of the world's leading standards for smart and sustainable livestock farming. The certification was granted by Bureau Veritas (BV), a globally recognized inspection and certification organization.

This is Mavin's third high-tech farm to receive the Global S.L.P certification, following the two farms: Mavin Anh Son - Nghe An Province and Mavin Kbang - Gia Lai Province.

Global standards for modern livestock farming

The Global S.L.P Certification establishes stringent requirements across key areas of livestock management, including:

Feed and water quality

• Housing and environmental conditions

• Animal welfare

• Biosecurity and hygiene

• Waste management

• Responsible use of veterinary drugs

• Social and environmental compliance

To achieve this certification, Mavin My Long has undergone a rigorous assessment process from Bureau Veritas independent experts, with comprehensive checking of operating processes - from breed management, feed, animal care, to environmental treatment and legal compliance.

Obtaining this certification not only strengthens Mavin My Long’s competitive advantage but also supports the expansion of its export markets, but also demonstrates its expertise in managing farms that fully comply with the international standards, and the association with sustainable development and environmentally friendly criteria.

Commitment to sustainable development - Mavin's core value

The Mavin Group identifies sustainable development as not only a strategic choice but also a long-term responsibility to the environment, community, and consumers. With the Mavin My Long Farm achieving Global S.L.P certification, it further cements Mavin's pioneering position in the Vietnamese livestock industry, which is a result of strategic investments in state-of-the-art farm systems, along with the application of advanced technology and smart management.

At present, 100% of Mavin's farms use automatic feeding/drinking systems, energy-saving central cooling systems, and tankers that transport feed directly to silos, contributing to cost savings, optimizing operations, and emissions reduction.

The Mavin Group also applies modern management software such as SAP ERP, cloud computing, real-time data analysis, farm management, and effective production planning. The Group is implementing a circular agriculture model, aiming to reduce emissions, increase the rate of regeneration, using the zero-discharge housing systems, treating waste to ensure biosafety standards, and returning treated organic matter back to the soil.

Moving forward, Mavin will deploy rooftop solar power systems on farms to help reduce operating costs and improve energy efficiency in livestock production.

Towards a green and responsible agricultural future

With all three of Mavin's livestock farms - in Nghe An, Gia Lai, and now Dong Thap having achieved Global S.L.P certification, it is truly a statement for the Mavin Group's journey in accompanying the Vietnamese Government towards the Net Zero 2050 roadmap, and a commitment to implementing sustainable development goals according to international standards.

By having a solid foundation, sheer determination, and the right path forward, the Mavin Group continues to maintain its position as one of the pioneering Agricultural and Food enterprises in the green transformation, while also constantly improving product quality, enriching value for the livestock industry, and protecting consumer health.
