UTS (Australia) Students Visit Mavin Group Headquarters in Hanoi

On December 19, 2024, Mavin Group proudly hosted a group of undergraduate students from the International Business program of the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. The visit was part of the Colombo Plan Travel Grant and Vietnam Study Tour, designed to help international students gain insights into Vietnam’s business environment and the agribusiness sector.

Connecting and Learning About Vietnam’s Agriculture Industry
During the visit, the students were introduced to Mavin Group’s 20-year journey – a leading agrifood enterprise in Vietnam. Starting from a small feed factory in Hung Yen, Mavin has grown significantly thanks to its vertically integrated value chain “From Farm to Table,” contributing to sustainable agriculture and exporting high-quality food products to international markets.

The students also had the unique opportunity to engage directly with Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of Mavin Group. During the discussion, Mr. David shared his inspiring story of overcoming challenges to build trust with the local community and discussed Vietnam’s economic advantages and investment prospects in the coming year. The Chairman also elaborated on Mavin’s integrated value chain model, its export potential, and the opportunities for Australian companies to invest in Vietnam.

Exploring Opportunities in Vietnam
The visit provided students with deeper insights into Vietnam’s business environment while fostering collaboration between international universities and enterprises. Mavin Group highlighted its commitment to partnering with academic institutions to create internship opportunities for international students and explore potential investment opportunities in Vietnam.

This event not only strengthened Mavin’s brand presence but also reaffirmed the Group’s dedication to building bridges of knowledge and culture between Vietnam and Australia.
