Mavin Shared the Digital Transformation Journey at VNUA

On the morning of November 17, 2024, at Lecture Hall A - Nguyen Dang Auditorium, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), representatives from Mavin Group shared insights into Mavin's Digital Transformation Journey with over 300 students of the Faculty of Animal Science during the "Student Orientation Week" event.

Representing Mavin Group, Dr. Dang Hoang Bien (Mavin Pigfarm) participated as a keynote speaker and guest panelist. In his presentation, Dr. Bien provided in-depth perspectives on Digital Transformation (DT) in agriculture at Mavin while introducing various digital programs currently implemented within the group. Highlights included systems like ERP SAP – an enterprise resource planning software, Porcitec – a swine herd management solution, Shop Floor – a production management platform, and other versatile applications such as MyMavin, HiStaff, and E-learning, which optimize operations, human resources, and internal training.

Notably, Dr. Bien demonstrated live operations on these modern software tools right in the auditorium, offering students a hands-on and realistic experience. This valuable opportunity allowed young participants to understand better how technology is applied in real-world production and management processes at Mavin – one of Vietnam's leading agricultural corporations.

Following the presentation, Dr. Bien joined a panel discussion with other businesses and students from the Faculty of Animal Science. During the interactive session, students enthusiastically raised questions about topics such as technology applications in animal husbandry, career orientation, and essential skills required to meet recruitment demands at major corporations like Mavin.

Mavin representatives and other business leaders shared practical advice, emphasizing the importance of combining academic knowledge with practical skills, as well as maintaining a proactive attitude towards adopting new technologies

The event not only provided students with valuable insights but also strengthened the connection between Vietnam National University of Agriculture and Mavin Group, paving the way for more career opportunities for students in the future.
