On April 1 & 2, 2021, Mavin Group honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee and the provincial delegation to visit some production sites of Mavin Group in Hoa Binh, Ha Nam and Hung Yen.
Accompanying the delegation were: Mr. Lo Minh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Members of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, leaders of Quynh Nhai, Muong La, Moc Chau, Van Ho districts.

The delegation visited Mavin's production sites:
- Aquaculture export farm in Hoa Binh lake, scale of 100 ha, maximum capacity of 10,000 tons of product / year;
- Food processing factory in Ha Nam, 1 hectare, with a capacity of 10,000 tons of products / year;
- Animal feed factory in Hung Yen, 5 ha, capacity of 300,000 tons / year;
The delegation also visited and worked at the headquarters of Mavin Group in Hanoi, together with the leaders of Mavin Group openly shared investment opportunities in Son La province.
Mavin Group proposed the Project of Livestock and Export Processing Complex in Son La, including:
(i) Animal feed processing factory: 45,000 tons / year
(ii) Poultry breeding development system: 10,000 parent chickens, 1,000,000 DOC / year; 20,000 parent ducks, 2,000,000 DOD / year
(iii) Pig production system: 6,000 breeding sows, 150,000 porkers / year
(iv) An organic fertilizer factory from livestock waste: 15,000 tons / year
If fully implementing the above items, the total investment of the Mavin Group in Son La is up to 600 billion VND.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of Mavin Group, said that Mavin's projects in Son La will boost local economic and social development and provide clean agriculture products for the entire Northwest region, aiming to export to other countries, meeting the development orientation of livestock production industry of Son La province. At the same time, Chairman of Mavin also pledged that besides bringing socio-economic benefits such as contributing to the budget, creating jobs and increasing income for people, Mavin invest in Son La will also attract more foreign investment, especially from Australia.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, highly appreciated the goodwill of the Mavin Group, affirmed that Mavin is developing in the right direction and he fully supports in terms of policy towards Mavin's investment plans in Son La. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also asked all Departments of Son La province to coordinate and ensure the fastest and most favorable administrative procedures for investors.
