Mavin 2020: Ready to take off

2020 is a memorable year because of Covid-19  and African Swine Fever virus (ASF). Despite many challenges, Mavin had a successful year. These success was the result of a wise business orientation and strategy of the Directors, the flexibility of all company members, leading to an impressive achievement ever in 16 years of operation.

1: Impressive revenue and business performance.
After 16 years of operation, the Group recorded impressive revenue and profit for the first time, especially for Farm, Feed, Foods. In particular, Foods industry flourished with a lot of new products and market expansion to the Central and South provinces, with impressive growth in revenue and profit.

2: Successful market development in Cambodia
After 2 years of exploring the Cambodian market, Mavin Cambodia's animal feed output has achieved impressive results and won the trust of many farmers in this country. In addition, through the distribution channel of animal feed, Mavin's veterinary pharmaceutical products are also widely reaching Cambodian farmers, opening up great opportunities for Mavin's VET industry.

3: Mavin's activities in the Mekong Delta grow impressively.
In which, Mavin Austfeed Dong Thap - MDT animal feed factory achieved the most impressive production, aiming to operate efficiently and boom in 2021. Besides, Mavin also has developed duck and pig farming activities in the Mekong Delta with a poultry hatchery located at the MDT Plant and the network of pig farms is expanding rapidly.

4: Commenced construction of large-scale livestock farm projects in Gia Lai, Nghe An and Dong Thap:
In 2020, Mavin officially started construction of large-scale livestock farm projects including: Pig farm and chicken farm in Kbang district - Gia Lai province with a scale of 100 hectares, Pig farm in Anh Son district - province. Nghe An with a scale of 100 ha, a breeding pig farm and an aquaculture farm in Cao Lanh district - Dong Thap province with a scale of 45 ha. It is expected that in 2021 these farms will be put into operation, contributing to increasing the total size of Mavin's livestock and poultry.

5: Successfully deployed ERP SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Resource Management software for Foods industry
After 133 days of implementation, on 4/12/2020, Mavin officially deployed ERP SAP S/4Hana software for the Foods industry. Digitalizing operations will be an important foundation for Mavin Foods to produce the best products, bringing the highest value to consumers.

6: Successful application of PORCITEC pig farm management software in the sow farms of Mavin Group
On December 22, 2020, Mavin completed the implementation of PORCITEC's pig farm production management software in the entire system of sow farms across the country. Porcitec is the most modern pig farm production management software in the world today, and has been applied by leading farms in the world.

7: Establish Mavin Foundation, aiming to strongly promote activities to share difficulties with the community, support livelihoods and develop education
On 31/8/2020, Mavin Foundation was officially established. This is an initiative of Mavin Group with enthusiasm and desire to build a better life. Mavin Foundation 's activities will aim at 4 main goals, including: supporting Mavin staff in difficulty, sharing with the community, supporting livelihoods and developing education.

8: Donation to people in the Central region to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, with a total value of nearly 3 billion VND.
In order to share the difficulties with the people in the Central region, Mavin Foundation promptly supported the people with 4,000 kg of sausages to cope with floods. Immediately after the flood receded, Mavin continued to support livelihoods with a total value of nearly 3 billion VND to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters and restore livestock. The support items included 100,000 chicks, 70 tons of feed and 20,000 packages of veterinary medicine.

9: Cai Lay Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Joint Stock Company - Mekovet, celebrated 30 years of establishment and received the certificate of merit from the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.
Mekovet is a long-standing brand of Veterinary Medicine in Vietnam, with 30 years of companion with the veterinary industry - domestic livestock, with hundreds of products and many initiatives to help farmers repel diseases. Thanks to the dedication to the country's Veterinary Medicine Industry, on 3/12/ 2020, Cai Lay Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Joint Stock Company received Decision No. 4890/QD-BNN-TCCB of the Minister of Agriculture and Development of Vietnam, recognizing outstanding achievements in the field of Veterinary Medicine, contributing to the development of Agriculture, Farmers, Rural.
