September 17, 2025 — At the welcome ceremony for new students of the Animal Husbandry Department, Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA), Mavin Group awarded meaningful scholarships to encourage the Class of 70 as they step into their academic journey.
The ceremony was attended by Party Committee members, heads of department, faculty, all new students of the Animal Husbandry major Class 70, representatives from Mavin, and other companies. This annual, meaningful event helps orient new students, fuel their passion for learning, and encourage nurturing ambitions right from their early days at the university.
Within the framework of the program, Mavin granted scholarships to incoming students with outstanding admission results, along with motivational gifts for all new students in the class. These scholarships represent Mavin’s recognition and affirmation that the students’ choice of studying Animal Husbandry is both right and full of potential.
Representatives of the Animal Husbandry Department shared at the event that while many young people pursue trendy fields like AI or information technology, the “reverse current” choice by these students affirms a distinctive passion and vision. These are the elite talents who will dedicate themselves to the development of Vietnam’s livestock sector.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Đặng Hoàng Biên — Senior Manager in charge of sow production at Mavin Livestock Corporation — extended warm congratulations to the new students and shared: “Mavin’s partnership with the Animal Husbandry Department and the University is not limited to scholarships, but also strong engagement through career talks, internship programs, scientific research, and recruitment opportunities.
This is proof of Mavin’s commitment to building bridges between academia and industry, contributing to training and developing high-quality human resources for Vietnam’s livestock sector.” Dr. Biên also urged the freshmen: stay true to your passion, proactively acquire knowledge and skills, clearly identify career goals so that you can become valuable citizens contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture.
As a Vietnam–Australia joint venture, over the past 20+ years, Mavin has developed the closed 3F model (Feed – Farm – Food), building a professional work environment with many development opportunities for young human resources. Notably, many senior leaders at Mavin today were educated at VNUA.
The scholarship awarding activity for new students majoring in Animal Husbandry further reaffirms Mavin’s social responsibility (CSR) commitment to supporting education and developing young talent. Mavin believes that with guidance from the university and support from businesses, the new students will walk steadily on the path of knowledge and become important contributors to the future of Vietnam’s agricultural sector.
