Mavin Pigfarm Shares Career Orientation with Animal Science Students

On the morning of May 5, 2025, at Vietnam National University of Agriculture (Trau Quy, Hanoi), representatives from Mavin Livestock Joint Stock Company had a direct meeting and exchange session with 130 third-year students from the Faculty of Animal Science before they begin a one-month internship at various farms.

During the session, Dr. Dang Hoang Bien – Senior Deputy Head of the Sows Production Department at Mavin Livestock – provided students with practical career orientation in the livestock industry, emphasized the importance of biosecurity in farm operations, and outlined key considerations before starting their internship at Mavin’s farm system.

In addition to the main presentation, Mavin’s representative also took time to answer numerous practical questions from students regarding the internship process, accommodation, farm regulations, and biosecurity protocols. The open and enthusiastic atmosphere helped students feel more confident and better prepared for their upcoming internship.

Mavin is one of the few companies that prioritize direct interaction with students to provide career guidance and safety orientation prior to internships, helping them feel less overwhelmed as they transition from classroom learning to hands-on experience.

This thoughtful preparation not only allows students to better understand the realities of working in a professional farming environment, but also enables Mavin to promote the values of a modern, professional livestock industry to the next generation.
