On 25 June 2018, Mavin Group held The Ceremony of Signing MOU with Sojitz Vietnam on Pork Export. Attending the signing ceremony were leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and several relating departments of MARD and over 50 newspapers and TV stations.
Mavin pork is a product of the Group's closed supply chain, including: breeding, animal feed, veterinary medicine, and food. Owning and controlling the close supply chain, Mavin Group ensures its pork safe, hygiene and tracable.
By the end of May 2018, Mavin's first pork container arrived at Yagoon, Myanmar and was successfully cleared by the importer. Mavin's pork is highly appriciated by the partners for quality and food hygiene and safety. At present, Mavin is preparing to export the next container. It is expected that in the coming months, Mavin will export at least one pork 40feet container to the Myanmar market each month. Besides fresh meat products, Mavin is also negotiating to export processed meat products such as ham, sausages and bacon to this market.
Thanks to the great support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, overcome many technical and veterinary barriers of the importing country, Mavin Group is the first enterprise in Vietnam to successfully export pork overseas. This is not only the success of Mavin but also the success of Vietnam’s livestock industry, as no other company has ever conquered the significant technical barriers to export pork to other countries. This is an important channel for bringing agricultural products, especially Vietnamese livestock products to the world.

Sojitz Vietnam, a member of the Sojitz Group - Japan, is a leading Japanese corporation operating in investment, commerce and manufacture in many countries in the world, including Vietnam. With the support of Sojitz, Mavin is expected to be able to export its agricultural products to many countries around the world. At the ceremony, Mavin Group and Sojitz Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which Sojitz will continue to accompany and connect Mavin with other countries.

At this event, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has also officially granted the Certificate of Smart Technology Agriculture Enterprise to Mavin Group.
