Mavin Training Program on Sexual Harassment Prevention for Employees

Starting from October 9, 2024, Mavin Group is launching a series of training and communication programs on preventing sexual harassment in the workplace, aimed at raising awareness and equipping staff with skills..

This is an important aspect of Mavin's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategy, in line with its commitment to strategic partner IFC, aimed at creating a safe, fair, and respectful work environment. This initiative is also a meaningful activity in celebration of Mavin Group's 20th anniversary and in honor of Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20.

The training program will enhance the awareness of over 2,000 Mavin employees about issues related to sexual harassment, which are clearly outlined in the company’s Labor Regulations and Code of Conduct. Through online and offline training sessions, employees will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify harassment behaviors, understand the complaint procedures, report incidents, and know how to seek help from specialized departments. The program will also help employees understand their rights and responsibilities in protecting themselves and their colleagues from inappropriate behaviors.

The training will be implemented in over 40 offices, factories, and farms of Mavin across the country. By providing training on sexual harassment prevention, Mavin not only complies with the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility (E&S) but also aims to build a corporate culture where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.

This initiative is integrated into the series of events celebrating Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20, reflecting Mavin Group's special concern for gender equality and safety for women in the workplace. This is an opportunity for Mavin to affirm its commitment to protecting the rights of all employees, particularly women.

Through this program, Mavin not only demonstrates its responsibility to its employees but also contributes to building a socially responsible business community, laying the foundation for sustainable and comprehensive development in the future.
