The farmers expressed their excitement when receiving the gifts. According to a farmer in Ea Sup, these gifts are meaningful and practical "fishing rods", which help them overcome difficulties. "We are very happy because this is the first time we receive chicken and animal feed, especially we are also trained by technicians about how to take care of these chicken. We promise to look after the chickens well thus we can improve our lives", this farmer shared. Mavin Group, the National Agricultural Extension Center and FAO also carried out training program to provide knowledge and experience for farmers in raising chickens, helping them increase income and stabilize lives after natural disasters.

The project to support and restore livelihoods for poultry farmers and poor farmers due to droughts and saline intrusion due to the impact of El Nino has been launched since December 2017.
