From March 1 to May 31, 2020, Mavin Group will implement a program to help farmer re-herd successfully, whereby Mavin will give FORMAVET disinfectant (help kill and prevent ASF virus) to all Mavin's customers of pig feed.
The program applies for both brands of Mavin's pig feed: Mavin Austfeed and Stargro.
FORMAVET disinfectant is a product of Cai Lay Veterinary Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Mekovet), a member of Mavin Group with a modern factory located in Tien Giang province. FORMAVET has been shown to have a very powerful effect on killing ASF virus, which has been trusted by farmers across the country in the fight against ASF.
In the context of African swine fever, Mavin has researched and added three layers of protection in animal feed products, thoroughly solving the following three issues to help farmers fight ASF and re-breed: disconnect the source of virus transmission in food + increase the immune system for animals + inhibit the production of ASF virus.
3 layers of protection in Mavin animal feed products include:
- Formandehyde: helps kill and prevent ASF virus in food. This is a breakthrough for the source of virus transmission through raw materials and food.
- Beta-Glucan: helps stimulate the immune system and enhance resistance for pigs
- Tyvalosin: helps inhibit the replication of ASF virus in pigs.
