In June 2026, Mavin Group, in collaboration with World Vision International in Vietnam, carried out a series of donations of animal feed, veterinary medicines, and farming supplies to households participating in the Livelihood Support Program in Thanh Hoa Province. The initiative aims to ensure that beneficiary families are well prepared before implementing duck farming models.
Under the 2026 program, livelihood support will be provided to 265 households across three project areas: Nhu Xuan, Thuong Xuan, and Thach Thanh. During the initial distribution phases, Mavin and World Vision International in Vietnam donated a total of 62.8 tonnes of duck feed, together with veterinary medicines and medical supplies for disease prevention and flock health management.
The first round of feed, veterinary medicines, and farming supplies has been successfully delivered to participating households in the Nhu Xuan and Thuong Xuan project areas. Meanwhile, in the Thach Thanh project area (Thanh Vinh and Thach Quang communes), all planned quantities of feed, veterinary medicines, and supplies have been distributed, enabling households to complete preparations before launching their duck farming operations.
The donated Mavin Austfeed 6101 duck feed has been specially formulated for the early growth stage of Mavin Cherry ducks. It is designed to support healthy digestion, promote stronger and more resilient ducklings, and reduce feed wastage through Mavin's advanced pellet technology, which produces durable, high-quality feed pellets.
In addition, Mavin Austfeed products will continue to be supplied according to each growth stage of the Mavin Cherry ducks, ensuring balanced nutrition, improved feed efficiency, and healthy development throughout the production cycle. Alongside the feed, the veterinary medicines and farming supplies provided will enable farmers to proactively manage animal health and prevent disease, contributing to more effective and sustainable farming from the very beginning.
The distribution of feed, veterinary medicines, and farming supplies marks the next phase of the project following the technical training sessions previously conducted for participating households. By combining knowledge transfer with comprehensive input support, the program equips farmers with both the skills and the resources needed to implement best farming practices and gradually develop sustainable and productive duck farming models.
Following the completion of these preparatory activities, the program will proceed with the distribution of Mavin Cherry ducklings to participating households. Throughout the farming cycle, Mavin Group, together with World Vision International in Vietnam and local technical teams, will continue to provide ongoing support, including technical guidance, flock monitoring, and timely assistance in addressing any farming challenges. Through this long-term partnership, the program aims to help farming households build sustainable livelihoods, increase their incomes, and improve their overall quality of life.
