Australian students visit Mavin Austfeed Hung Yen factory

On June 26, 2024, in Hung Yen, a group of students from the University of Wollongong (Australia) and Foreign Trade University Hanoi (FTU) visited the Mavin Austfeed Hung Yen (MAC) animal feed mill.

The tour was organized by the Australian Government's Trade and Investment Agency (Austrade) in Vietnam, as part of the collaboration between the two universities from Australia and Vietnam. According to Austrade, the purpose of the visit was to allow university students to directly interact with a successful Australian business in Vietnam, to learn and witness the successful commercial partnership between Australia and Vietnam.

During the program, the students learned about the establishment and development process of the Mavin Group in Vietnam and had a firsthand experience of the factory's production line, as well as the modern production processes and quality standards applied by Mavin in animal feed production. Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of Mavin's Board of Directors, welcomed the students and shared: "In our 20 years of operation in Vietnam, Mavin has been committed to delivering high-quality and safe products for the animal husbandry industry, while aiming for sustainable development with responsibility towards environmental protection and the surrounding community."

The students from the University of Wollongong and FTU showed keen interest in the 20-year journey of Mavin in Vietnam, asking numerous questions to Mavin representatives about production processes and market expansion strategies.

Chairman Whitehead presented commemorative gifts to the international student group as a gesture of appreciation.
