Year 2018 closed with impressive development of Mavin. This is the year that Mavin implemented comprehensive restructuring, especially for the animal feed area. Mavin also completed adapting the Holding operation model, with the focus on one-location operations.

Here come some notable milestones of Mavin in 2018:
1. Inaugurated the Mavin Austfeed feedmill in Dong Thap, with a capacity of 400,000 tons of animal feed/year, which is the first step to establish the supply chain in the South;
2. Be awarded Certificate of Agribusiness Integrating Advanced Technology by The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
3. Became the first Vietnamese enterprise to successfully export pork overseas;
4. Implemented the 100 hectares aquaculture project, with the culturing capacity of 10,000 tons of tilapia and red-tilapia, applying Norwegian round cage culturing technology at Hoa Binh hydropower reservoir;
5. Officially implemented projects of breeding duck and chicken;
6. Signed a partnership with World Vision to support sustainable livelihood for the poor in Vietnam;
7. Received the "Excellent Business Award” from the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham);
8. Successfully implemented the Holding's effective management centralization model, focusing on operating 4 sectors of Feed - Farm - Food - Vet at the Head Office in Hanoi;
9. Deployed and successfully applied the Profit & Loss model to member companies;
10. Ranked among top 6 animal feed producers in Vietnam (according to VNR500 in 2018).
2019 is the year marking 15 years of operation of Mavin Group in Vietnam. With many ambitious projects, the action strategy chosen is INNOVATION and EFFICIENCY.
Some key projects will be implemented in this year: aquaculture project of 400 hectares in Tuyen Quang; Seafood culturing project of 2,000 hectares in Kien Giang; Large-scale duck farming project, producing 1 million commercial ducks each year; Project of native breed chicken in Hoa Binh; Project on pigs and chickens farming on a scale of 100 hectares in Gia Lai and Tay Nguyen; Project of a 45 hectare farm for pig, chicken and duck breeds in Dong Thap; 100 hectare high-tech breeding center project in Anh Son, Nghe An.
At the same time, Mavin also selected 2019 as the year to officially deploy to the enterprise overall management system - SAP-ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). According to Mr. Dao Manh Luong, CEO of the Group, Mavin will aim to be an advanced technology integrating agribusiness, applying automation and Internet of Things (IoT) in every fields of operation, in which ERP will be a key project in the coming years to realize this goal.
