On 10th January 2022, after 209 days of implementation, Mavin Group officially put into operation SAP ERP ERP system for the swine industry - Mavin Pigfarm.

Kicked off on 15th June 2021, ERP project for Pigfarm industry is one of the most important projects in the Mavin Group's Digital Transformation Program. Mavin is the first enterprise in Vietnam as well as in Southeast Asia to pioneer to apply ERP for the swine industry. Especially in the context of the increasingly complicated Covid-19 situation, the digital transformation of the livestock industry is of great significance in keeping the food supply chain humming, both for Mavin and for the society as a whole.
The Go-live recognition event was held online via Zoom platform with participants from the offices in Hanoi, Hung Yen and 27 Pigfarm's production farms across the country.

Reporting on the operation of Pigfarm in the past 209 days, Mr. Pham Cao Bang - COO of Mavin Pigfarm said that the past 209 days have been a arduous journey with many difficulties and challenges such as: all members have to get used to the new process, the approach shifts from manual operations to software interaction. However, with the advantages of Mavin such as: Being the company with the strongest and most drastic determination; Officers have positive thinking, try to complete the task; ERP is the top priority project, Mavin Pigfarm is ready to deploy the new system. COO of Mavin Pigfarm committed to try to apply ERP effectively, shorten the conversion time, make the most of the system to serve governance, and fulfill the goals of the Mavin Group's Board of Directors on digital transformation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mavin Group Chairman - Mr. David John Whitehead affirmed that the cooperation with world leading partners such as SAP, Microsoft, Deloitte and other partners in the digital transformation process, has been helping Mavin realize the benefits of digital transformation. “Today's achievement is the first step for Mavin Pigfarm and it is a remarkable effort. There is still a lot of work ahead and I hope the Project Board and staff continue to utilize the Project as well as develop related systems. SAP ERP will be a solid foundation for the development of Mavin's Swine Industry today and in the future", Chairman Mavin shared.
