On 15th June 2021 – in Hanoi, Mavin Group officially kicked off the Project of implementing ERP SAP S/4HANA ERP for the swine business.
This is the 4th time that Mavin applies ERP for a business line (ealier are Animal Feed, Processed Foods, and Veterinary Medicine), to complete the digitization program with ERP SAP S/4HANA. The project for swine farm started on 15th June 2021 and is expected to be completed in early 2022.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dao Manh Luong - CEO of Mavin Group said that Mavin has started to pick sweet fruits from the previous successful ERP projects of Feed, Foods, Vet. Thanks to the strength of ERP, Mavin can react quickly and in time to the changes of the market. ERP not only brings information linkage, but also the connection between people and people, between processes. That is the reason why Mavin decided to continue applying ERP to Pigfarm - the core industry of Mavin Group.
Also according to Mavin’s CEO, Mavin is the first company in Vietnam and one of the few companies in the world to apply the world's leading enterprise management system SAP S/4HANA for the pig industry. Before that, Mavin was also a pioneer in applying the most modern pig farm production management software - PORCITEC.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Pankaj Rathi, General Director of Deloitte Consulting Vietnam could not attend the ceremony directly, but attended online and shared the speech with all members of the Project. Mr. Pankaj said that with the trend of digital transformation, especially in the agricultural sector, in addition to the reason for the Covid-19 epidemic, companies have to shift to work online, so they need a system that is powerful enough to record transactions and retrieve real time reports anytime, anywhere to ensure the continuity of the business. That is the strength of ERP SAP S/4HANA that Deloitte is pleased to deploy at Mavin. Not only meeting the requirements in terms of real time reports, with ERP, Mavin Pigfarm will have a powerful digitized system and be able to build better processes in the future. The General Director of Deloitte Vietnam also thanked Mavin's Board of Directors for continuing to choose Deloitte as a consultant and wished for a successful cooperation in the future.
