Golive ERP SAP Pigfarm Phase 2: Small Project - Big Change

On January 9, 2024, in Hanoi, Mavin Group will put into operation phase 2 of SAP S/4Hana ERP software system for the pig industry. With the companion of Deloitte Consulting – the world's leading implementation consultant on SAP corporate governance solutions, the project was completed after 61 days of hard efforts of more than 30 Project Board members.

According to the representative of Deloitte Consulting, the project was completed on schedule thanks to the close cooperation and high commitment from Mavin's Board of Directors, department heads and all members of the Project Board. 

The new system has officially come into operation from January 9, 2024, with important changes to breeding processes, cost calculation and management reporting. This will be the basis for the Mavin pig industry to develop quickly and strongly in the future.

Speaking at the ceremony announcing the operation of the system, Mr. Dao Manh Luong, General Director of Mavin Group affirmed that this is an important first milestone of the pig industry in the first days of 2024. "Although the project is small, implemented in a short time, it will make big changes for Mavin's pig industry," emphasized the General Director.

Mavin Group is one of the first companies in Vietnam and in the region to implement SAP ERP for the livestock industry. Thanks to his in-depth experience in pig farming and determination for digital transformation, Mavin has effectively exploited ERP system phase 1 to serve daily production and business activities. Phase 2 of the project continues to standardize and refine the system, thereby perfecting the production and business model to help Mavin quickly adapt to market changes, towards sustainable animal husbandry. 

According to General Director Dao Manh Luong, the successful implementation of SAP S/4Hana ERP System for the pig industry is not only meaningful for the sustainable development of Mavin but also contributes to changing Vietnam's agricultural industry.
