Typhoon No. 11 landed in Da Nang and Quang Nam, beside the damages of storm, there was also damages of flood with a high level of water that came from rain and flood discharging from the hydropower reservoirs. As soon as the storm came and after the typhoon, Austfeed Binh Dinh excutives visited and then quickly updated the impaired situation. Immediately after the typhoon, the delegation of AFB including Mr. Duong Vinh Que and regional staffs visited every single family.
With the agreement of the executive committee, AFB supported the amount of 7 million VND to each impaired customers. All of customers felt very touching because the visit is timely and meaningful.
In addition, without handling experience, many agents as well as farm sheds were unroofed leading to many sick and dead swine after the 10th storm. Through that experience, company’s side guided how to handle the problem, so the herd was safe afterwards for this time. Therefore, in this visit, the company guided farmers how to use veterinary medicine in feed of healthy swine in order to resist of diseases. Simultaneously, the company also guided farmers how to vet already sick herd that helped farmers as well as agents to reduce expense, so farmers were very glad and thanked to the company.
As well as the 10th typhoon, the 11th typhoon also caused significant losses for farmers, so capital expenditure recovering is difficult, in addition, there was risk of flooding in Quang Nam on October, so the herd re-raising is significant declined.
