On 14 February 2019, in Tien Giang, Mavin Group officially put into operation Mavin Austfeed Tien Giang warehouse at the address: Number 58, Highway 50, Street 3, Commune 9, My Tho City. Attending the ceremony were representatives of Mavin's feed customers in the western provinces.
Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of Mavin Group (middle) and the Directors of Dong Thap Mavin Austfeed Feedmill cut the ribbon to open Tien Giang Warehouse.
Tien Giang animal feed warehouse has an area of nearly 1,000m2, accommodating up to 1,000 tons of animal feed, serving customers in some western provinces and Ho Chi Minh City. Tien Giang Warehouse is an extended arm of Dong Thap Mavin Austfeed Feedmill, helps develop business, support retail activities and enhance Mavin's brand in the Western provinces, especially Tien Giang area, a potential husbandry area. Speaking at the opening ceremony of Tien Giang Warehouse, Mr. David John Whitehead, Chairman of Mavin Group shared the expectation that Tien Giang Warehouse will timely and fully support customer's needs for animal feed products with high quality, contributing to build a sustainable agricultural sector of Vietnam.
In the southern provinces, Mavin Group inaugurated a feed mill in Dong Thap province on 5 May 2018. This is the largest and most modern factory in the Mekong Delta, producing high quality feed products of international standard. In order to close the livestock supply chain, Mavin also put into operation a warehouse branch in Dong Nai and a grandparents' pig farm in Hau Giang province with the capacity of 200 sows, 100 piglets and 3,000 gilts, contributing to improve the quality of sows in the local area.
