On 5th April 2019, Mavin Group successfully imported chicken breeds (Day Old Chicks) from France. The first "foreign" breed chickens were transported by specialized vehicles to Mavin High Quality Breeding Center in Hoa Binh province.

From the end of 2018, Mavin has implemented chicken breeding activities and conducted trials of high quality native chicken breeds in Hai Phong and Quang Ninh. Mavin also cooperates with farmers to apply advanced husbandry processes and techniques, supporting the consumption of output products, helping farmers to increase their income sustainably.
In 2019, Mavin selected and imported Sasso chicken breeds to support farmers to improve the quality of breeds. This chicken line is highly adaptable, easy to raise, good disease resistance, delicious meat quality, has been widely raised in our country, bringing high economic value. Mavin is planning to expand contracted farm across the country with a goal to market about 10 million colored chicken by the end of 2020.
