Building on the success of the SAP ERP system implementation project for the pig farming industry, on November 9, 2023, Mavin Group launched Phase 2 of the project to further upgrade and refine the business production model in the pig farming sector.
Mr. Dao Manh Luong, CEO of Mavin Group, stated that Mavin is one of the few companies in the market with extensive expertise in the pig farming industry, holding a strong position in the market. It is also the first company to undergo digital transformation by implementing the SAP S/4HANA ERP software system. "The success of Phase 1 of the SAP ERP application project has reinforced confidence in the Group's digital transformation strategy because, given the specific nature of the pig farming industry, digital transformation is an extremely challenging task not only for Mavin but also for the entire industry."
The CEO of Mavin mentioned that Phase 2 of the SAP ERP application project will standardize and fine-tune the system to enhance the business production model of the industry to meet the Group's development needs for the next 5-10 years. "A successful project will help Mavin quickly adapt to market changes, aiming for sustainable farming. Not only is it significant for Mavin, but the project will also play a crucial role in the overall transformation of the entire agricultural sector in Vietnam," emphasized the CEO of Mavin.
Phase 1 of Mavin Group's ERP SAP software system application project has established a perfect database for optimal ERP operation, and the system has been efficiently used by staff to make daily production and business decisions. However, faced with market challenges and the rapid growth of the industry, Mavin needs to continue exceptional development, seize opportunities, and adapt flexibly to changes. Therefore, upgrading the SAP ERP system is a critical task and will serve as the foundation for the future rapid and robust development of Mavin's pig farming industry.
The project continues to be supported by Deloitte Consulting, a leading consulting and implementation partner in Vietnam and globally for SAP enterprise management solutions. Phase 2 is expected to be implemented within approximately two months, with the system officially operating in the first week of January 2024.
