On August 29, 2024, Mavin Group marked the start of the new school year by presenting gifts to 200 disadvantaged students from Hung Son and Binh Son communes in Anh Son District, Nghe An Province.
The gift-giving ceremony was attended by representatives from local authorities, teachers, parents, and students. Mavin Group’s Chairman, Mr. David John Whitehead, personally distributed school uniforms and backpacks to both students and teachers.
During the event, Chairman Whitehead extended his congratulations to the teachers and students of Hung Son and Binh Son communes and expressed his hope that Mavin’s contributions would support the schools' educational initiatives.
Chairman Whitehead also took the opportunity to thank local leaders and residents for their ongoing support of Mavin's activities in the area. He emphasized that “the strong understanding and cooperation between the community and Mavin will drive socio-economic progress, contributing to Nghe An Province's sustainable development in the future.”
